The Slippery Slope

The Tale:

I am not really telling this tale, but asking if anyone out there can recover a review of an opera gala opening in Italy maybe 1977-81 ish. It might have been the newe La Scala. This crux of the story involevd a new sloping floor.
The review, in Punch magazine, was the funniest thing I 've read.
Thr cartoon withthe article adds a major laugh too.Anyone have it?
