organizor stumps the soprano
The Tale:
A soprano friend of mine gave a recital in England and met the organizor afterward backstage. The organizor obviously didn't like the performance yet felt compelled to say something since she was standing face to face with the soprano. She looked at her for a second, said "Nice earings" and then disappeared.
