I am a home schooling mom with a degree in chemical engineering and have a husband who is a computer engineer. I have been concerned about the effect of technology on our quality of life for a long time, and was thrust into deeper thought about this after reading "Amusing Ourselves to Death". "Technopoly" is a brilliant book and my only wish is that I could get all the technophiles around me to read it.
