Technopoly: Radical or Right on?

I am reading Technopoly for a class, and the book contains many worthwhile arguments against the use of technology, but it also has an off the wall, looney toons kind of flair too. I agree somewhat with what Postman is saying, but he takes his comments a little too far occasionally. If he is advocating going back to a past society, it is impossible--we have changed too much to return to a previous state. I think the book is very informative and interesting, although too radical at times. So many arguments can be drawn from the book that it is nearly impossible to take a position on it and not have it refuted by someone. (that last sentence really didn't make any sense...)
