Being a Muslim I have to agree with Neil Postman that society is suffering from the effects of Technopoly. Much of the technology today is generally applied for the exploitation of humankind not its enhancement. Enhancement deals with the quality of life. What kind of quality of life do we have when we are restricted, monitored and controlled by a technological system that is extremely subversive in its nature.
